Job Title: Full-Time Housekeeper

Location: Park Avenue, Upper East Side, Manhattan, NYC

Salary: $40/hour

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm (Flexibility to work 11am - 7pm on some days)

Employment Type: Full-Time, Live-out (Live-in required for August in the Hamptons)

Job Description:

A private couple residing on Park Avenue on the Upper East Side of Manhattan is seeking an experienced and dedicated full-time housekeeper. The ideal candidate must be pet-friendly, especially with dogs, as the household includes two adorable Havanese dogs that will require daily walks and care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed cleaning of a high-end residence
• Manage laundry and ironing tasks with precision and care
• Take care of two Havanese dogs, including daily walks and general care
• Cook simple meals a few nights a week
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the home
• Work with flexibility in schedule, including occasional shifts from 11am - 7pm
• Live-in Monday - Friday in the Hamptons during August, returning home on weekends

Requirements:

• Prior experience working in high-end residences in Manhattan
• Proficiency in detailed cleaning, laundry, and ironing
• Strong English speaking skills
• Must be pet-friendly and have a genuine love for dogs
• Ability to cook simple meals
• Flexibility to live in the Hamptons during August (Monday - Friday)
• Professional demeanor and ability to maintain discretion

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate is someone who has a background in professional housekeeping, is comfortable and experienced in high-end residential environments, and loves dogs. They should be meticulous in their cleaning and organization, capable of managing laundry and ironing with expertise, and willing to cook simple meals. The candidate must be adaptable and willing to adjust to different schedules as needed, and comfortable with living in the Hamptons for the month of August.
