Description JOB DESCRIPTION: Appraisal Analyst
DEPARTMENT/DIVISION: Credit Administration
REPORTS TO: SVP Credit Administration
SUPERVISES: No supervisory responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY Maintain functions related to real estate appraisals as required by the Credit Administration Department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Maintain and understand policies and procedures for real estate appraisal requirements
- Maintain process of ordering, reviewing and evaluating real estate appraisals taken as collateral in credit transactions
- Communicate with loan officers, review staff, and third-party appraisers
- Disseminate information regarding real estate appraisals
- Review general ledger accounts for payment to third party appraisers
- Maintain approved appraisers' files
- Assist senior staff members in formulating and updating policies and operating procedures which incorporate requirements of real estate appraisals
- Assist in coordination of the bank's efforts in examinations conducted by the Federal Reserve and State Banking Department
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 1-year appraisal, lending or banking experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Previous real estate sales experience

- Ability to travel on occasion
- Must be able to start and persist with specific courses of action while exhibiting high motivation; must be available to work after hours on occasion in order to reach department goals
